TRIBUTE TO GENERAL CHOI HONG-HI |
|

General Choi Hong-Hi
1918 - 2002 |
"It was in my early days of TaeKwon-Do when I
first met General Choi Hong-Hi, IX Degree Grand
Master and founder
of TaeKwon-Do. I was amazed at his determination to make everyone
better at their technique, thus the reason he travelled the world for many years updating
instructors, masters and students.
General Choi,
to me, is TaeKwon-Do. His name etched in our memory, and we
will never forget
his willingness to make our dream come true, to make us the best.

|
I
personally will never forget his visit to Whitburn in Scotland, with his son Master Choi and Master Tom MacCallum who was
my first instructor.
General Choi's visit was a chance for all of Scotland to see what a
truly magnificent man he really was. His never tiring attitude,
always willing to answer questions on technique.
He had a massive impact on my TaeKwon-Do. I will always treasure my
training under General Choi and will continue to follow the way of
life you have taught me.
Sir, I thank you from the bottom of my heart, for the special gift
you have planted in me, farewell my TaeKwon-Do father".
Senior Master Leslie Hutchison, VIII Degree
